DR. SCOTT THAYER, PRESIDENT OF CYPRESS COLLEGE

Dr. Scott Thayer is now the President of Cypress College. 

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

Dr. Thayer's policies so far are the same as Stephen Schoonmaker's policies. 

I personally met with Dr. Thayer on July 25, 2024. He said he would look into my concerns about employees harassing and killing campus cats. A month later kittens are still disappearing and the inhumane treatment of cats by destroying their water dishes on exceedingly hot days continues, in fact, has gotten worse. 

Dr. Thayer has been made aware of the inhumanity of his employees and how they are mistreating cats. He said he was going to have "meetings" but his "meetings" appears to be doing absolutely nothing at all to stop the cruelty to the Cypress Community cats committed by Tim Noriega and the maintenance department. Seriously, an email could have stopped this! All he had to do is send an email to the maintenance department and tell them there is now a cease and desist order in place from the President's office. 

EXAMPLE:

MEMO FROM THE PRESIDENTS OFFICE: 

DO NOT HARM ANY CATS. DO NOT DESTROY ANY WATER DISHES PLACED FOR THE CATS AND KITTENS! ANYBODY VIOLATING THIS ORDER WILL BE FIRED.
