Fluffy

Fluffy

Fluffy earned her name for obvious reasons. She is a very furry cat. She disappeared on January 20, 2023. Fluffy was not trapped and given a better life. She was disappeared.

Fluffy was born in the apartment complex north of parking lot #6. Her mother, Interloper Mama, brought her over one day, somehow got her up on the top of the wall, and eventually Fluffy figured out how to get down and got some food and worked her way into the colony.

I call her mother Interloper mama because she was an interloper into the Cypress Community Cats Colony. It is my opinion that this colony of cats is a result of the wild cat population in the apartment complex and they populated onto the Cypress College campus during the Covid-19 shut down when the campus rabbit and rodent population was expanding. During the Covid-19 shut down the White Tailed rabbit population grew. I used to enjoy seeing them running around on the athletic field at night when nobody was around.
